I love it all. It feels very complete and is a fine description of two bodies/souls moving in the direction of becoming one, heading to that point of no return and complete surrender…the Event Horizon. Well done. 🙏🏼
Im so glad you stumbled across this and tinkered a bit. Things like this happen in their own time, when we dont allow our creative work its own breath, it feels forced.
This feels different than anything I've read hear. I love the whole feel of what you wrote. I'd list the lines that attracted me, but I dont want to copy the whole poem. Nicely done Sapphra.
I loved this one. the second stanza sparked something and I found myself writing it in my own words. It was a fun exercise, actually, taking your lines and playing around with them in my voice. a good way to shake loose that writer's block I've been in too. lovely poem, Sapphra.
Thank you so much. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I definetly understand the writers block. I’ve been having it lately too. I think I spreading my creativity too thin with too many poetry challanges/tags. I need to focus.
Ah, the writer's affliction: starting as a poet and ending as an astrophysicist.
I particularly like "give me your gravity": the idea that that elementary force is something that can be offered or taken at will. Lovely work.
Right?! HA! Thank you so much for reading it with an open mind. xx

Thanks for saying that. It is nice to know that my poem found you and made you feel something.
“colliding until we
ignite inside each other” is my favorite line.
That is a seriously good line.
Thanks, babes.
Thank you so much. It's one of my personal favs too.
